Back Pain — One of the Colon Cancer Symptoms

Colon cancer, almost has few symptoms in its early stages. Back pain, is one of those uncommon symptoms.

Although it is not typical, back pain can occur when the tumors start to obstruct the colon in its advanced stage. Put simply, there is a strong muscle in our colon wall that makes the colon unobstructed under enough moisture. So if there is a blockage inside the colon, the muscle will cramp, making constipation and pain.

Constipation, is one of common colon problems. Obstructive constipation means there is stool moving through the colon and rectum hardly, so you may need to push it for a better colon movement, putting more pressure on your back. As a result, the back pain comes into being. Sometimes, in turn, the back pain may also work on bowel movement and cause constipation in some cases.

In short, don’t ignore your back pain, it could be a simple pain or it could be a cancer alarming. Just try everything you can to relieve it, or go to see a doctor.
