Cholesterol Level in Shrimp

Some healthy eaters add grilled shrimp to salads, rice or pasta dishes, and other lean meals. But others are worried about the cholesterol level in shrimp. Here is a chart showing the nutrition facts of shrimp.

The chart shows that 85g of steamed or boiled shrimp contains 135mg of cholesterol. If your cholesterol levels are normal, you can eat shrimp without worrying about the cholesterol. But if your cholesterol levels are high, you should avoid too much intake of shrimp.
