Hot and cold compress
If your pain is not severe, you can try hot and cold compress to ease pain. You can fill an ice bag with ice cubes and place it on the affected area and keep it in place. Dip a soft towel in hot water and squeeze out the excess water, then remove the ice bag and place the hot compress on the face. You can repeat the method for ten to fifteen minutes.

Chamomile tea
Chamomile tea can stimulate blood circulation and reduce the swelling. You can boil a cup of water and add a heaped teaspoon of dried chamomile to it, then after 10 minutes you can drink it. Remember drink no more than three cups a day.

Evening Primrose
Evening primrose contains abundant fatty acid which can help to stimulate blood circulation, reduce inflammation and ease pain. You can boil a few leaves and flowers of evening primrose in a cup of water for no more than three minutes, and then strain the decoction. Remember drink no more than three cups a day.
