Causes of diabetic itching can be concluded into four types.

Fungal Infections.Common symptoms of this itching include jock itch, athlete’s foot and ringworm.
Eruptive Xanthamatosis. Common symptoms of this itching include itchy, yellow, firm, pea-like formations with a red halo develop on the skin, usually on the backs of hands, feet, arms, legs and buttocks.
Poor Circulation.This itching happens in the lower legs and feet.
Necrobiosis Lipoidica Diabeticorum. Symptoms of this itching include raised, waxy and yellow skin with purple borders.
