Q: I felt pain when I peed last night. I’m afraid I might have bladder cancer. What is bladder cancer like? Does it develops a tumor.

A: Pain with urination is one of the symptoms of bladder cancer. But it is also a sign of other diseases. You should find whether you have other symptoms of the cancer, such as blood in urine and lower back pain. If pain during urinating is the only symptom you have got, probably you only have urinary tract infection (UTI).

Well, the bladder develops a tumor in bladder cancer. However, a tumor does not indicate that you have bladder cancer. The tumor can be either benign or malignant. Benign tumors are easy to copy with, but a malignant tumor in the bladder leads to bladder cancer. If not treated timely, the cancer can spread to other parts of the body.

In order to make it clear that in what condition your body is, you must go to hospital to take a medical check-up as soon as possible.
