For Bladder Infection: “I’ve had a UTI for the past two weeks now. I was first prescribed macrobid, which didn’t completely get rid of my UTI as I still have urgency and frequency to urinate. I was then prescribed cipro. Didn’t work at all. I have now been prescribed keflex. Fingers crossed.”

For Bronchitis: “I originally began my treatment with Cipro on Monday due to a UTI. I have also been suffering with a severe cold and cough (possible bronchitis) but had not yet sought medical treatment for that. To my very pleasant surprise, Cipro has not only begun to clear my UTI, my coughing and chest congestion has also improved drastically. Who knew? I take my last doses tomorrow. Symptoms of both issues are completely gone. I have not experienced any side effects whatsoever. I highly recommend this. :)”

For Urinary Tract Infection: “I got the flu about 2 weeks ago, went for a follow-up with my regular Dr then I got diagnosed with strep throat. Between these 2 weeks I made several visits to the ER because I kept feeling weak I figured it can’t be the flu anymore so I went to another ER which they ordered blood work and urine sample that was not ever ordered at the other ER. Come to find out I been suffering with a bad UTI so they gave me an injection of ciproflaxin. I hope I feel better soon because I’ve missed 2 weeks of work already.”

Cipro (ciprofloxacin) for Skin or Soft Tissue Infection: “I have a petty mean case of cellulitis. I was prescribed cipro 2x’s daily. The first day I took it, some of the redness seemed to lighten up, my body had aches all over, but I was still willing to proceed to get rid of the deep nasty pain of the infection. Can not use NSAIDS on cipro – so tylenol 4 times daily it was. Tylenol only worked about 2 hours and the pain was back plus. 3 days in the redness was growing and an ulcer had now formed. I kept taking it. I called my doctor on the 6th day and was told to keep taking the cipro. 8 full days and 1 half day later I was in ER. They scanned my leg, abscess is forming. WBC is higher than the previous week – it is doing nothing but making more pain all over my body. D/C Cipro and now on to Cephalexin 500MG 4 times a day. Man I hope something works fast!”

For Sinusitis: “Tolerated very well. After reading other comments, I was very skeptical to try due to negative side effects. Made sure to drink plenty of water from day 1. No side effects and 1 day left of treatment.”
