Monistat 1-Day Pre-Filled Applicator (tioconazole) for Vaginal Yeast Infection: “I felt the early symptoms of a yeast infection coming on and decided to take care of it right away. I have used the egg version in the past without any issues. But my local Target didn’t have it in the store yesterday. I used this before bed as suggested, within half an hour, my vagina was BURNING and SWOLLEN. It looked like it did after giving birth! It was unbearable. I jumped in the shower and attempted to wash out whatever was left in my vagina. I lathered it in coconut oil, the burning stopped, but 9 hours later, after sleeping with an ice pack between my legs and taking a Benadryl, my poor vagina is still so swollen I can barely walk! After reading other reviews this seems like a common occurrence. How can you sell something that causes such awful reactions?! When will the swelling go away?!”

Tioconazole 1 Day (tioconazole) for Vaginal Yeast Infection: “I was on day 5 of the itching and although I was feeling a little better I decided to use this to just knock it out and WOW did I make a HUGE MISTAKE. I woke up in the middle of the night burning and itching sooooo badly I was considering going to the ER! I was in tears, it was so bad! The YI ended up lasting 4 more days and I now know to never ever buy OTC medication for this particular problem ever again.”

Monistat 1-Day Pre-Filled Applicator (tioconazole) for Vaginal Yeast Infection: “Worst product ever! I had the very beginning of a yeast infection and bought the 1 day pack instead of the 3 day like I have before. I woke up with the worst pain I have ever had, and was swollen to the point of not being able to walk correctly. I wish I would have read the reviews on the product first, then I would have known that SO many people experience allergic reactions to the product.”

For Vaginal Yeast Infection: “I can’t stress this enough save yourself from so much pain and DO NOT GET THIS. This should not even be allowed to be in the shelves!!! I usually use the 1 day treatment with the little egg but I thought I’d try this one out. Worst mistake of my life. It burns so bad and my vagina lips are SO swollen I’m terrified. I can’t even wipe without screaming in pain. Use the miconazole 1 day treatment that looks like a little egg instead of this one. It works so much better”

For Vaginal Yeast Infection: “Tioconazole- is the Walgreens brand I used last night. The burning sensation has caused my knees and ankles to ache, plus I have a headache-after 6 hrs. I’m supposed to be going out tomorrow night, I wish I would have read these reviews ahead of time. Now I have to sit on a plane for 4hrs…I hope the pain subsides and I don’t start iching. uhg!!!- btw, I will never try this product again.”

Monistat 1-Day Pre-Filled Applicator (tioconazole) for Vaginal Yeast Infection: “I will post a follow up as I’m only a few hours in. I had a mild YI and haven’t had one in years! So I decided to try and get rid of it quickly, choosing the 1-day. I’ve used the 3-day in the past and it was fine. I inserted this at ~1:30pm. It is now 3:30pm. From 2:30-3:30, holy crap, that was the most intense burning and itching, I almost had to leave work. It is starting to subside, but I think I’ll definitely go to the gyno I next time for the oral antibiotics.”
