Q: I am an atrial fibrillation patient and is on drug treatment now. In order to get recovered from AFib, I plan to live a healthy life. What should I know about the diet?

2. Develop a regular and reasonable eating habit

A regular and reasonable diet helps protect the heart. For patients with atrial fibrillation, their diet should be low in calories, fat, and cholesterol. This is good not only for patients with atrial fibrillation, but also for other people. At the same time, keep your intake in the normal range. Getting less or more than the range is not recommended.

3. Eat food rich in vitamin C and potassium and low in sodium.
