How to Measure total Cholesterol?

Total CHOLESTEROL,or TC is the sum of cholesterol in all lipoprotein in the blood, including free cholesterol and cholesterol esters. 
Total cholesterol can be measured in mmol/l or mg/dl.
Normal reference value of serum total cholesterol: 2.85~5.69mmol/l  or 110~220mg/dl.
