How to prevent dehydration?




To prevent dehydration, people should drink at least 16-20 ounces of fluid one to two hours before an outdoor activity. And 6 to 12 ounces of fluid are needed every 10-15 minutes when you are outside with acitvities. After the activity, at least another 2 to 3 cups of fluid should be taken. Another way to make sure you are not dehydrated is to check your urine. If it’s dark, keep drinking more.
