According to the Cancer Figures 2018, the five-year survival rates in US has been improving year over year. The Cancer Figures was released in 2018 but the data is up to 2013, the survival rates for most cancer types are as below:

 

Breast(female)

The five-year survival rate of female breast cancer for local is 99%, for regional 85%, for distant 27%.

Colon

The five-year survival rate of colon cancer for local is 90%, for regional 71%, for distant 14%.

Rectum

The five-year survival rate of rectum cancer for local is 91%, for regional 72%, for distant 14%.

Esophagus

The five-year survival rate of esophagus cancer for local is 43%, for regional 23%, for distant 5%.

Kidney

The five-year survival rate of kidney cancer for local is 93%, for regional 67%, for distant 12%.

Larynx

The five-year survival rate of larynx cancer for local is 77%, for regional 45%, for distant 34%.

Liver
