Orphenadrine is a muscle relaxer.

Orphenadrine is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury.

Important information

You should not take orphenadrine if you have urination problems, an enlarged prostate, glaucoma, a stomach ulcer or blockage in your digestive tract, trouble swallowing, or myasthenia gravis.

Side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using orphenadrine and call your doctor at once if you have:

  • a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out;
  • painful or difficult urination;
  • little or no urination;
  • confusion, anxiety, agitation, tremors, hallucinations;
  • pounding heartbeats or fluttering in your chest.
