What Are the Causes of IBS Diarrhea?

Q:
What are the causes of IBS diarrhea?

A:
Researchers don’t know what causes IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). While it occurs more frequently on women and adult under 50, genes do play a role in the risk of getting IBS.

One common symptom of IBS is diarrhea. Patient feel like an urge to passing loose, watery stool two or more times a day. The symptom appears because Irritable bowel syndrome makes your colon more sensitive than normal. It can react to things like stress, bacteria, and even certain foods.

At that time your brain receives the signals and may respond too much to control your colon. As a result, your intestines squeeze too hard, making food move more quickly through your system than usual. Afterwards, you may feel and experience pain, diarrhea, and other problems like gas.
