Generally, the liver cirrhosis is divided into compensated cirrhosis and decompensated cirrhosis.

In the compensated cirrhosis stage, the patients still have healthy liver cells that can function normally. There are not obvious symptoms that indicate the cirrhosis of the liver and doctors will ask for physical examinations and blood check to diagnose.

In the decompensated stage, the patients will bear obvious symptoms, including yellow skin, fluid accumulation in the abdomen, bleeding or bruising much easier and hepatitis. In this stage, the organ may not work as before and the patients may need organ transplant to the extreme conditions.
