When cancer cells grow through the top layer of the cervix into the tissue below it, signs like irregular vaginal bleeding and unusual vaginal discharge begin appearing.

Irregular Vaginal Bleeding

Irregular vaginal bleeding is the most common sign of cervical cancer. The abnormal bleeding can happen between periods, after having sex, or after menopause. Sometimes, the blood is mixed with vaginal discharge, making the discharge reddish with blood streak.
