What Are the Flu Symptoms of the 2017 – 2018 Flu Season?

The 2017-2018 flu season started from almost October 2017  and are still running through March 2018. And during this time, the reported cases generally  increase in a tenfold way.

Influenza is a common visitor for all of us.  But that doesn’t mean we should ignore its possible damage. Sometimes, it means death. Here are some typical symptoms you can take as a reference. If you have them already, don’t hesitate to see your doctor.

Flu Symptoms

Cough
Sore throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Fatigue (tiredness)
Fever (lasts 3-4 days)
Chills
Muscle/body aches
Headaches
Vomiting/diarrhea (more common in children)

These symptoms are similar to the general flu or cold. But they are much severer , especially in children, and they may grow into the following complications such as pneumonia, bronchitis, myocarditis, encephalitis, sinus infection, ear infection organ failure and so on.
