  • Cramping
  • Abdominal pain
  • Bloating
  • Nausea
  • Fever
  • Vomiting

When the condition get serious, you may get the following symptoms:

  • Severe pain in abdomen or recta
  • Blood in your stool
  • Black, tarry stools
  • High fever (greater than 101.3 F)
  • Signs of dehydration

In children, particularly young children, diarrhea can quickly lead to dehydration. When you or your family members show the signs above, call your doctor right away.
