Baby acne is a type of acne that develops on skin of a baby. It usually appears on the cheeks, nose and forehead. It is very common and temporary. The cause of it is unknown.

Baby with baby acne may show following symptoms:

  • Small, red or white bumps on cheeks.
  • Tiny white bumps on the nose or chin.
  • Symptoms develops within 2 or 4 weeks after birth.

In most cases, baby acne can clear up without scarring, so you needn’t worry about it. If you find that your baby’s acne fails to clear up in 4 months, you can consult your doctor.
