Brain hospice will be given to patient of glioblastoma if his situation is too serious and has no method to control. The most common length of survival after diagnosis of glioblastoma is 12 to 15 months. Doctor will give brain hospice to patient when he has no more than 6 months to live.

But, brain hospice doesn’t mean stopping using medical treatment. Doctor will still give patient some treatments, but those treatments are not to cure the disease, but to give comfort and to reduce the patient’s pain.
