What Is CRPC?

Q:
I just read a term “CRPC” in some prostate cancer learning. What is it? Can anyone share a simple explanation?

A:
Put simply, when you have both a rising prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level and a low testosterone level, you may suffer from the castrate resistant prostate cancer, CRPC.

Also, if your prostate cancer doesn’t go away after hormonal therapy, you should do some tests to confirm the CRPC.

Keywords: castrate resistant prostate cancer; crpc.
