Endometrioma is a type of cyst formed when endometrial tissue grows in the ovaries. Endometrioid cysts, often filled with dark, reddish-brown blood, may range in size from 0.75-8 inches.

Endometriosis is the presence of the particular tissue outside the uterus. It affects women’s fertility and may cause chronic pelvic pain.
