Hepatitis B Surface Antibody (anti-HBs) is one of the standard blood tests used to measure hepatitis B virus. So, you can know whether you are currently infected with hepatitis B or have revovered.

Anti-HBs also develops in a person who has been successfully vaccinated against hepatitis B.

When the test result of anti-HBs is “positive” or “reactive“, it meas the person is immune to hepatitis B infection.
