The most common type of breast cancer both in women and men is invasive ductal breast cancer. It accounts for 75% of all types of breast cancer. The term invasive ductal breast cancer is also known as invasive ductal breast cancer of no special type or ductal breast cancer not otherwise specified. The cancer isn’t classified into a specific type, because its cancer cells have no particular features.

This type of cancer starts when cells in the milk ducts become abnormal. At this stage, cancer cells have spread out of the ducts to surrounding tissues and even lymph nodes and the other parts of the body.
