What is perioral dermatitis?

Perioral dermatitis is a facial rash which causes bumps around the mouth, eyes, noses or forehead. Ninety percent of people with perioral dermatitis are young women. However, it can also appear on men.

People with perioral dermatitis may have following symptoms:

  • Scaly and red bumps.
  • Burning.
  • Slight itching.
  • Fluid discharge.
