What Is Thrombotic Stroke?

Q:
What is thrombotic stroke?

A:
A thrombotic stroke occurs when there is a blood clot forming in one of the arteries that supply blood to your brain. A clot may be caused by fatty deposits that build up in arteries and cause reduced blood flow or other artery conditions. This is one type of ischemic strokes.
