What is World AIDS Day?
World AIDS Day was founded in 1988 and it was the first global healthy day. It falls on December 1 every year and people around the world would unite to fight against the transmission of HIV, raise awareness of AIDS caused by the virus, to express support to those who contract AIDS, and to mourn people died from the disease.

The red ribbon is a symbol for fighting against AIDS, solidarity with HIV-positive people. It’s also the symbol for drunk driving prevention and drug abuse.
