Some patients are allergic and sensitive to gluten. It is found in rye, wheat and barley. Bread, pasta, condiments and many packaged foods have gluten as an element.


Naringenin is a powerful chemical found in grapefruit, which does harm to the effectiveness of antiarrhythmic drugs, for example, amiodarone (Cordarone) and dofetilide (Tikosyn). What’s worse, grapefruit juice can also hinder the intake of other medications from the intestines into the blood.
