Coronary thrombosis is caused by atherosclerosis. This is when there is build up of cholesterol and fats in the artery walls. The main causes of coronary thrombosis are stress, smoking, high blood pressure, lack of exercises, etc.

People may experience shortness of breath or chest pains, commonly called angina when developing coronary thrombosis. The treatments for coronary thrombosis can include medications, lifestyle changes and surgery.
